The Regal Foundation

The Regal Foundation was established in 2003 as a non-profit charitable organization to coordinate support for numerous national and local philanthropic groups. The Regal Foundation supports the communities in which Regal operates by partnering with selected charities to aid the initiatives of national and local charitable entities dedicated to the assistance of persons affected by economic, social, physical, or educational disadvantages in the following four areas: education, health, military, and children & family.

National Partners

Some of our national partners include: The American Red Cross, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Variety – The Children’s Charity. Additionally, Regal supports many other local, regional and national charities across the U.S.

All grant application and donation requests undergo careful consideration by the Regal Foundation Board to ensure grants provide the greatest benefit to the greatest number of people.

Special Programs

My Way Matinee gives everyone the opportunity to experience a movie at participating theatres with the sound turned down and the lights turned up.

Many Regal theatres across the country proudly provide the deaf and hearing-impaired access to open-captioned movies. Selected shows feature the dialogue written on the screen in a subtitle format. Filmmakers may also make descriptive audio available where an additional narration track assists blind and visually impaired guests.
